Okanagan Valley - Kelowna

Being one the of the warmest year-round cities in Canada, Kelowna is a like a little slice of heaven in the interior of British Columbia. We decided to drive to Kelowna from Calgary during the May long weekend to enjoy the mountains, wine, and the Okanagan Lake.

Kelowna is famous for it's pristine golf courses, as Hubby and I have never golfed we opted for Mini Golf at 19 Greens and look at those views!

We spent the evening on a yacht listening to a live band and watching the sunset.

The next day we wanted to enjoy Canada's Wine country so we headed to Mission Hill Winery. The vineyard look out over the valley and lake and I swear it was one of the most beautiful places I have ever seen. We treated ourselves to a tour and wine tasting. We were even able to go underground to the Barrel Cellar and learn first-hand about the wine making process.

One of the oldest wineries in British Columbia is Grey Monk Estates. Here we explored the grounds on our own and had a wine tasting!

On our third day in the Okanagan Valley we took a trip to Hardy Falls in Peachland. The walk to the falls is approximately 5-10 minutes longer if you're stopping for pictures. The falls itself is 3 meters high.

We had our dinner at Memphis Blues BBQ. The pulled pork sandwich was delicious!

On our finally morning in Kelowna Hubby decided he wanted to go sea-dooing. As it was mid-May the water was freezing but we had a lot of fun!
